Jason is a former technical representative for Nikon who has worked with this camera series since their introduction. He shares his deep knowledge of the camera so you can master the essential features and learning about the little know ones that will improve your use of this remarkable camera system.

This four-session practical online program takes you deep into the customization and controls of the camera. Jason moves you beyond the instruction manual and helps you find the hidden gems that lie within these Nikon cameras. This in-depth program dives into the various cutting-edge technologies found exclusively within the Nikon D800 series of cameras and builds upon your existing Nikon knowledge.

Topics covered include the Auto Focus (AF) settings, Focus Shift Shooting, 4k movie shooting, creative picture controls, silent photography capabilities, and NIKKOR lens technology. Jason Stewart

Jason Stewart is a photographer and photo educator who has spent the past 25 years working in the photographic industry consulting with retail camera stores, teaching photo workshops, and in a variety of positions at Nikon USA. For the past 18 years Jason worked with Nikon as a Technical Sales Representative Manager and a Professional Service Market Manager. His primary role was to educate and train users of Nikon products on how to maximize their experience.

Jason’s expertise is being able to communicate and demonstrate various photographic techniques and ideas in a straightforward and simple manner. He most recently managed Nikon’s team of Technical Representatives that would host in-person and online photography workshops.

Jason’s passions in photography are diverse —nature, landscape, and macro —as well as time-lapse photography and slow-motion video.
