Getting the Most from Your Fujifilm X Series Camera

with Christopher Gilbert

Course Description

With the announcement the X100 in 2010, and with over a decade of mirrorless camera experience, Fujifilm is a pioneer in the development of mirrorless cameras. Fujifilm X series cameras are currently in their fourth generation of models — X100V, X-Pro3, X-T4, X-T3, X-T30, X-S10, and X-E4. All these cameras feature timeless styling with classic controls such as shutter speed dials and aperture rings on lenses. Fujifilm cameras strive to return to the joy of photography.

This four-session practical online workshop takes you deep into the customization and controls of the Fujifilm X series cameras. For photographers who recently purchased an X series mirrorless camera, have owned one for a while, or are now considering it, this workshop offers a unique opportunity to take a short online program designed to give you the skills necessary to take full advantage of this extraordinary camera system with the help of photographer and educator Christopher Gilbert, currently a FUJIFILM Product Technical Specialist.

Christopher leads you well beyond the instruction manual (who reads them anyway?) to a deeper understanding and appreciation for the creative potential of your Fujifilm X system. Topics covered include a thorough review of all the basic user settings and menus for stills and video; understanding film simulations and picture controls; frame rates; silent shooting; ISO options; focus bracketing; manual focusing aids; and auto focus customization and controls. Additionally, Christopher reviews how to get the most from the native X mount lenses currently available and the variety of adapters that let you use most camera lenses on X series cameras. Exploring the camera’s video features and connecting with the outside world via social media using Camera Remote are just a sampling of the subjects covered in this tech-centric workshop.

Fujifilm X series cameras offer a wide range of exciting features to photographers for making still images and video. This workshop helps you understand the best ways to use the over 80 years of color science and the unique X-Trans sensor found exclusively in Fujifilm cameras to achieve maximum results in your creative image making. Take the next step and get the most from your Fujifilm X series camera system with Christopher in the lead and by your side.
