Fujifilm’s X Series cameras have been well known for their classic looks and handling since their initial release in 2010. While the refined, throwback handling of the cameras, exhibited in touches such as the shutter speed dial on top and aperture rings on lenses, harkens back to the film days, these cameras are as advanced as any on the market. Join Rick Berk as he takes you inside these cameras’ extensive focus and exposure features to help participants get beyond the basics and take advantage of everything the camera has to offer.
In the first session, Rick reviews the X Series’ exposure system, including the metering modes and exposure modes, demonstrating how they work together to achieve the final image. From there he covers the many ways to customize the exposure system, and explain advanced features such as multi exposure, time-lapse, video, and more.
Next comes the Fuji autofocus system, where Rick explores both function and strategy. He explains how the AF and exposure systems work together to allow you to create more dynamic images, before diving into the numerous customization options to help users get the most from the camera.
Assignments are given after each session, allowing participants to practice new techniques and use previously undiscovered features for themselves. Rick reviews selected images during subsequent group sessions, offering tips and answering questions.
Take your Fujifilm X Series camera to the next level with this highly focused workshop as you learn to get the most from two essential camera functions and express yourself in new and exciting ways.
