Course Description

Building on the foundational skills learned in the initial “Web Design for Photographers” workshop, this advanced session delves deeper into the art and science of creating a compelling, user-friendly, and customized website. The follow-up workshop, led once again by photographer and web designer Cotton Miller, is designed for photographers who have already set up their basic portfolio site and are looking to elevate and expand their online presence.

In this advanced workshop, participants explore sophisticated web design techniques and tools to enhance the functionality and aesthetic of their site. The course covers advanced customization options, integrating e-commerce solutions, adding custom code, and utilizing design software such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to create unique logos and graphics. Additionally, participants learn how to use ChatGPT to generate engaging and relevant copy for their websites. Each participant is given the opportunity to schedule two one-on-one Zoom sessions with Cotton to discuss their own website’s needs and concerns.

This workshop is ideal for photographers who want to refine their web design skills and advance the efficiency of their sites. These advancements ensure their websites not only attract but also retain visitors. By the end of this next-step workshop with Cotton, participants have a more polished, professional, and highly functional website that truly reflects their artistic vision.
