SPARK ART: A Creative Workshop for Photographers

with Leanne Trivett S.

November 5 – 22, 2024

Tuesdays and Fridays; 9:30 - 11:30 am (Mountain Time)
  • Tuition $595.00

Course Description

The full-blown fires of expressiveness start with just a SPARK.

Join Leanne Trivett S. for an online workshop bound to SPARK your imagination, inspire you to experiment, and ignite new ideas and imagery. We begin with exploration into text, color, emotion, and story, directly from your world. By getting a jump start in playful exercises, your imagination is fueled with inspiration and connection.

During our group sessions, presentations of art and photographic visuals are viewed, ideas are brainstormed, participants’ work is shared, and gentle creativity coaching is provided by Leanne. As fresh ways to stretch the imagination are discovered, minds open within this nurturing space and artistic classroom. Encouragement of experimentation allows for active engagement in the process and creation from the very soul. Join this unique experience to ignite the SPARK in your work!

Additional Information

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:

All are welcome, including alumni of any of Leanne’s prior workshops.  The group sessions and exercises are designed for any skill level and the use of any camera: digital SLRs, mirrorless, digital point and shoot are all suitable for this course. Apple iPhone users with digital workflow knowledge are also welcome.

What You Should Know:

A working knowledge of your camera and basic digital workflow is required. This would include the ability to download your images to your computer or tablet and make selections. This workshop is focused more on creative exercises and less on software.

Special Notes:

Class will meet 9:30 – 11:30 am (Mountain Time) on Tuesdays and Fridays starting November 5 and ending November 22 (six online group sessions). Enrollment is limited to 12 participants.

Zoom Video Conferencing software (available for no charge from Zoom.com) will be used to facilitate the class sessions. Further details will be emailed to registrants.

Santa Fe Workshops always aims to produce a high-quality experience for our online attendees. That said, variables including regional and local internet provider speeds, traffic on Zoom's servers, and your own computing hardware can contribute to a less than ideal streaming event. While we do our best to minimize the impact of these variables, they are outside the control of Santa Fe Workshops.

Policies:

View Withdrawal and Transfer Policies for online programs.

For the convenience of participants, recordings of each class session are posted privately for one month after the end of each session. Santa Fe Workshops takes the recordings down after one month to protect the intellectual property of our instructors.
