Course Description

Pablo Picasso famously said, “Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up.” Creativity is inherent within us, but as artists, we can become blocked by drawing within the lines and stifling the flow of inspiration.

For those striving to bridge new gaps or fuel fresh perspectives in their image-making, this new online workshop with Susan Burnstine provides creative tools to inspire new pathways forward in your work, enabling us to actualize ideas to make them a reality.

Whether you are a new, emerging, or established photographer, this workshop introduces creative strategies that are sure open-up new possibilities through exercises designed to stretch the imagination in helping to answer the core creative question – “what if?” Together, we discover fresh ways to reimagine the world around us through unique weekly assignments, presentations, group critiques, and discussions with invited guests who have transformed the ordinary into the extraordinary.

Over the course of our five weeks together, you acquire the tools necessary to regain the freedom to create from your core and feel confident producing images that reach beyond the conventional, reconnecting you to your unique, personal vision.
