Course Description

We all have personal photographic projects, but most are hiding on hard drives or stored away in print boxes. Moments and stories recorded, waiting for the right time to bring them back to life. Now is the perfect time to re-open these images and bring them into the light in the supportive environment of a workshop. There is purpose and magic in community.

As we start a fresh year and are still sequestered at home for these winter days, join Joyce Tenneson and eight other photographers to unleash the power of the collective spirit to take the next step for your personal photographic project.

Joyce is passionate about helping photographers finish projects that resonate deeply with their own creativity, interest, and goals. She has published sixteen books and has had countless exhibitions that showcase work that all started as personal projects. Joyce loves empowering others and has a long history of helping others bring their photographic dreams into reality.

In this online workshop, limited to only 9 photographers, Joyce offers each participant the guidance necessary to bring their photographic projects to completion, and then the perspective and tools to share it in an appropriate format to the right audience. Editing and sequencing tasks that seem overwhelming on our own become fun when shared together.

The group meets online twice weekly for lively conversations and reviews of individual projects. Over the course of the three weeks, each participant works to edit and sequence their images, complete a short written introduction, as well as an initial cover design for their project. The energy from collaboratively brainstorming and shared feedback ensures that each project moves forward to its destined future.

Immerse yourself in the rich realm of possibility as you take your personal photographic project on a path to completion with Joyce and eight other passionate photographers. You finish the workshop reinvigorated, honoring your project with fresh ideas and approaches.
