Traveling is everyone’s dream, but returning from our adventures with meaningful and powerful images is another story. Travel photography is an art that goes well beyond a few snapshots here and there. Your images must tell a story and convey that unique experience. If you are serious about improving your travel photography, then this online workshop is for you.
During the six group sessions, Raul Touzon presents and leads discussions on a wide range of travel photography topics, including how to best prepare for your trip and creative ideas once you arrive (gear, settings, and specialized techniques such as panoramic and night images). Raul also covers how to photograph cities and urban environments, produce striking portraits, capture magnificent landscapes, approach wildlife photography creatively, and embrace cultural celebrations. And last but not least, you explore how to sequence your images to tell a compelling visual story of your journey.
In addition to the wealth of information and insights into successful travel photography drawn from Raul’s almost 25 years in the field, you work with your existing travel images to put together a short travel essay that encapsulates the essence of this particular experience. Raul and your fellow classmates offer feedback and suggestions on both the images chosen and the sequencing of the storyline.
Join Raul and others who love to travel and bring back photographs that tell the tale of the places seen, people met, and adventures lived.

Santa Fe Workshops always aims to produce a high-quality experience for our online attendees. That said, variables including regional and local internet provider speeds, traffic on Zoom's servers, and your own computing hardware can contribute to a less than ideal streaming event. While we do our best to minimize the impact of these variables, they are outside the control of Santa Fe Workshops.

For the convenience of participants, recordings of each class session are posted privately for one month after the end of each session. Santa Fe Workshops takes the recordings down after one month to protect the intellectual property of our instructors.
