So much of learning photography happens through lessons in the field with our camera in hand. Settings, techniques, and gear—they are all important. But what happens once you return home? What is the next step after you take your SD card out of your camera? Having a comprehensive workflow in place for when you begin the organizing and editing process can be a game-changer both in the moment and for your long-term projects.
In this six-session online workshop, we cover every single step of the digital photographic process, from taking the SD card out of the camera to sharing completed photos online or in person. We talk about different storage device options (and which are best), how to effectively and efficiently import your photos and organize them, and how to navigate Adobe Bridge, Lightroom, and Photoshop. We also discuss comprehensive editing techniques for various kinds of photos, including landscapes, portraits, astrophotography, concerts, and sports. Finally, we explore how to prep and export files for various mediums like web, social media, and print.
At the end of this course, you walk away with a start-to-finish digital workflow and can expect to feel comfortable in every aspect of post-processing. You have the knowledge to create a robust and reliable file storage and organization system, are equipped to navigate powerful editing applications and feel confident in knowing you are sharing the highest quality versions of your photos that you can.
Photographers who are comfortable using their cameras and want to build a strong post-processing workflow.
No editing experience needed.

Santa Fe Workshops always aims to produce a high-quality experience for our online attendees. That said, variables including regional and local internet provider speeds, traffic on Zoom's servers, and your own computing hardware can contribute to a less than ideal streaming event. While we do our best to minimize the impact of these variables, they are outside the control of Santa Fe Workshops.

For the convenience of participants, recordings of each class session are posted privately for one month after the end of each session. Santa Fe Workshops takes the recordings down after one month to protect the intellectual property of our instructors.
