The Nikon Z system launched Nikon into the world of mirrorless cameras, providing a range of options for photographers to fulfill their creative desires. Rick Berk leads a four-session online workshop on the Nikon Z Series extensive exposure and focus systems to help participants move well beyond the basics.*
First he demystifies the Nikon exposure system’s metering modes, pointing out ways to use each one for enhanced creativity when photographing. He moves on to the various exposure modes, demonstrating how each one achieves proper exposure and how we can leverage each exposure mode as needed. He then covers exciting in-camera exposure features, including multiple exposure, time-lapse video, and HDR.
Next we turn our attention to the Nikon Z Series autofocus modes, exploring both function and strategy. Rick also addresses how focus and exposure systems work together, allowing you to create more dynamic images. Assignments between sessions allow participants to put new techniques into practice, and Rick reviews selected images during subsequent group sessions, offering tips and answering questions.
Up your game in this highly focused workshop as you learn how to make the most of two essential camera functions that expand your creative horizons and inspire you to express yourself in new ways.
*This workshop does not cover the new Nikon Z8 & Z9 cameras.
This program is designed and intended for current owners of a Z5, Z6, Z6 II, Z7 and Z7 II or those interested in learning more about this mirrorless camera system. A working knowledge of basic camera operations is required.

Santa Fe Workshops always aims to produce a high-quality experience for our online attendees. That said, variables including regional and local internet provider speeds, traffic on Zoom's servers, and your own computing hardware can contribute to a less than ideal streaming event. While we do our best to minimize the impact of these variables, they are outside the control of Santa Fe Workshops.

For the convenience of participants, recordings of each class session are posted privately for one month after the end of each session. Santa Fe Workshops takes the recordings down after one month to protect the intellectual property of our instructors.
