Christie Hemm Klok is an American photographer born and raised in Southern California and is now based out of San Francisco. Christie headed north after completing her degree in photography at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. Her work centers around storytelling aided by the use of artificial light in the field. She has been published internationally and nationally in The New York Times, National Geographic, The Smithsonian Magazine and WIRED.
