Under the guidance of Nikon Ambassador Kristi Odom, participants are shown how to elevate their images by using a wide range of camera techniques, all from the comfort of your own home! Each group session offers lessons that help you advance your camera skills through creative challenges, ultimately elevating your photography to a new level.

Our subject matter for this workshop is the exotic wildlife and expansive plant world in your backyard as well as close-by parks and nature trails. From the patterns on a dragonfly’s back, a Warbler in flight, and a flower’s unfolding pedals—there truly is beauty all around us. This online workshop dives into tips and tricks on using macro and telephoto photography to put your own unique voice into your images of bugs, birds, and plants.

Each online class begins with a lecture by Kristi, providing new tools, techniques, and inspiration. Then group critiques offer a great opportunity for participants to share their work and receive valuable feedback. At the end of each session, Kristi gives an assignment to be completed by the next session.
