Course Description

Are you ready to take your imaging and printmaking skills to the next level? Are you tired of inferior prints that waste your time and materials? As the digital revolution continues, new tools continue to change the way we print, and finding a balance between traditional imaging software and the new raw converters can range from challenging to downright confusing.

Why not let one of the nation’s most respected digital printmakers expand your knowledge and provide some much-needed clarity? Join R. Mac Holbert in a five-day printmaking experience in Santa Fe and learn to integrate the old tools with the new.

This in-depth, hands-on workshop in Santa Fe Workshops state-of-the-art Digital Lab explores the latest tools and developments in fine-art digital printmaking. In addition to familiarizing ourselves with various aspects of Epson P900 printers and all they can do, we explore Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom. We also look at issues such as workflow philosophy, how to set up a productive working environment, image optimization, and paper options to fulfill your vision for the final print.

If you want to expand your imaging proficiency and share Mac’s twenty-plus years experience in digital imaging, then this is a workshop you want to be a part of!
