Course Description

Whether you’re a photographer or a model, creating a standout portfolio is an important step toward success in the industry. Join Shanyn Fiske, a renowned fashion and portrait photographer trusted by models and agents nationwide, as she takes you inside the process of building an exceptional professional model portfolio.

From her studio in Philadelphia, Shanyn leads participants through a full demo shoot with a professional model and makeup artist. This 3-hour seminar begins with preparing for the shoot, including communicating with agencies, creating mood boards, and styling hair and makeup on set. In the second hour, Shanyn demonstrates photographing a commercial look with studio lighting, followed by a third hour focused on photographing for a fashion and beauty portfolio, also using studio lighting.

Q&A sessions are included throughout the seminar, allowing participants to engage with Shanyn and ask questions related to the presentation or their specific goals. This virtual seminar is a must for photographers looking to refine their craft and for models wanting to build a portfolio that captures the attention of top agencies and clients.
