Act II: Theatre of Botanicals

with Leanne Trivett S.

Course Description

Ready to amplify the dramatic voice of your botanical images? Act II, the standalone sequel to the first Theatre of Botanicals online workshop, charts the emotional journey of your work’s main character: the flower.

Photographer Leanne Trivett S.’s background in theatre gives her the know-how to create dynamic stories, and she invites you to let your imagination run wild and push your botanical images farther than ever before.

As you delve into collage, still life, abstraction, and writing, as well as color and shape, you learn how to add emotion to your images organically and engage with your art in a more personal way.

Class time is spent on looking at the work of inspiring artists, image reviews of participant work, and individual creativity coaching. We also explore sequencing strategies to help you find stronger connections from image to image and to tell a story. Assignments and group sharing allow Leanne to give feedback and guide each participant as we test new ideas and add new ways of thinking to our practice.

Join Leanne to take your images into Act II as you create dramatic florals that soulfully reflect your vision.
