Course Description

Post-processing is an essential part of creating memorable landscape imagery, and Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop are unrivaled in enabling artists to shape a scene to match their vision. From manipulating composition to exploring color, light, and shadow, these tools open up a world of creativity.

Pairing Adobe tools with critical rules of landscape imagery can often feel like a daunting task. Many photographers know what they hope to capture in a scene but struggle to fully express that vision in post-processing. In this workshop, Adam Nish dives into the many facets of landscape post-processing and reveals easy-to-follow steps that take you from the initial breakdown of a single image to a final work of art.

We begin with the vision of an image, identifying the end goal and editing to meet that goal. This is followed by essential knowledge, including HDR and focus-stacking multiple images. We then turn toward the night sky, engaging in astrophotography in your local neighborhood. Finally, Adam reviews student images and shares best practices for processing.

No matter what speaks most strongly to you as a creator, Adobe can bring it to life in incredible ways. Join Adam as you hone the skills to analyze your landscape images effectively and post-process them to fulfill your vision.
