Course Description

Santa Fe Workshops is honored to host a Master Class with artist Maggie Taylor. “Modern Montage” begins where Maggie’s popular “Creative Digital Collage” workshop leaves off. This new program is a unique opportunity to spend a week in the Workshops state-of-the-art Digital Lab with Maggie as instigator, collaborator, disrupter, inspirer, and creative yoda.

Each morning Maggie offers advanced Adobe Photoshop demos followed by time to practice these new techniques. In addition, Maggie brings a series of follow-along demos highlighting some of the techniques she is currently most intrigued by for her own work. After lunch, the afternoons are devoted to personal creative projects with Maggie working one-on-one with each participant.

Because the technical skills and artistic creative expression of all 13 participants promises to be at a very high level, interaction and learning from each other is an important component of this master class. Prospective registrants need to have completed Maggie’s “Creative Digital Collage” workshop at Santa Fe Workshops or another venue.
