Course Description

VAGABUNDO: Color of the Street is a new and dynamic, on-the-ground workshop led by master color photographer, Arthur Meyerson. This unique week is designed to sharpen your eye, deepen your awareness, and help you create photographs that feel both spontaneous and intentional. Vagabundo is Spanish for “wandering,” so spend this week in full vagabundo mode with Arthur. Traverse the vibrant streets of San Miguel de Allende and neighboring towns where color, culture, and everyday life collide in an ever-shifting rhythm.

Through targeted assignments, field trips, and thoughtful critique, you learn to recognize the moment those fleeting intersections of light, gesture, and hue that transform an ordinary scene into something extraordinary. We explore how composition, intuition, and timing work together in fast-moving environments, and how to move through the street with curiosity, confidence, and respect.

San Miguel and its surrounding towns, with their rich palette and layered street life, provide an ideal setting for pushing your work forward. This workshop is open to serious photographers who want to expand their vision, embrace unpredictability, and craft images that resonate with authenticity and color-driven storytelling.

Join Arthur as fellow wanderers of the street—open to surprise, awake to the moment, and ready to let color lead the way.
