Course Description

Running a successful freelance photography business is a thrill and a challenge in this day-and-age. Working for yourself and the freedom it affords is rewarding. Being successful at it is another story. Art Streiber has enjoyed a long, rewarding, and successful career as an entertainment, commercial, and editorial photographer. Join Art on a Saturday afternoon in Los Angeles for this in-person program as he shares his professional systems and organization, what it takes to produce effective shoots, market yourself on a variety of platforms, and run a successful photography business.

Art takes you in-depth, behind the scenes, on a few of his recent shoots and then breaks down the seminar into three essential concepts that arms you with an up-to-date understanding of the current market and give you the building blocks to successfully navigate your career.

  • Handling the Shoot from Start to Finish: Pre-production, production and post-production.
  • Running your Business:  Putting systems and infrastructure in place so that you’re able to handle the project when it comes your way. Handling your finances; payables, receivables, payroll etc. Taking advantage of downtime.
  • Making the Most of Marketing: Prioritizing your website, your Instagram feed, your portfolio, and promotional pieces.

Learning from Art and his vast professional experience while networking with other freelance photographers makes this a valuable and fun way to spend an afternoon in Los Angeles.
