What We Leave Behind with Brad Temkin

Event Date: Tues, Mar 14, 2023 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM MST

Join photographer Brad Temkin for a discussion surrounding the global impact of humanity on the natural world. Through visual explorations of the contemporary landscape and its intersection points with the environment, Brad’s lens reminds us that we are everywhere, and impact everything we touch.

During this one-hour talk, Brad will discuss the evolution of his career and share the guiding questions that shaped his work along the way: what impact do humans have upon the natural world? How do we acknowledge and honor our delicate interdependence with our environment? How do we accommodate our public spaces, architecture, and infrastructures to live in balance?

Brad’s work seeks to answer these questions, and celebrates the inventiveness of modern design and its ability to simultaneously meet our needs. In a world where stories of climate change and environmental disaster define our newsfeeds, Brad’s work allows us a moment to also appreciate the beauty and ingenuity of our changing world.

This conversation will be followed by a short question and answer session with the audience. Even if you can’t make the live event, a recording of it will be available for all those registered.

Creativity Continues is a way to connect, encouraging expression, and is a collective way to develop creative voices. The goal is to engage all within our creative community. We encourage extending invitations and sharing Santa Fe Workshops Creativity Continues events with any whom express an interest.
