Ri Anderson’s unique use of photography, photoshop, and print materials has established her as a digital collagist/embroiderer, printmaker, and master technician. From her home in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, Ri unleashes her imagination and incorporates magical realism into her semi-autobiographical pieces, which use Adobe Photoshop to create fantastical, unexpected forms and tableaux. Her work has been widely shown in galleries and museums throughout North America and China, as well as featured in publications such as LensCulture, Printmaking Today, and BETA Developments in Photography. Her newest body of work is currently touring Mexico, ending with an exhibition at Museo de la Mujer, in Mexico City.
