about Marco

Marco Serventi is a documentary photographer and videographer based in Switzerland. Marco holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Film Studies, a Master’s Degree in Media Studies, and he is a graduate of the Visual Journalism and Documentary Practice program at the International Center of Photography in New York.

Marco began his career as a commercial photographer and videographer, collaborating with brands such as UNICEF, Microsoft, Clinique, Universal Media, GrubHub, and AccorHotels. In recent years, he has shifted his focus to editorial projects, working with numerous publications including  The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Guardian, Australian Geographic Magazine,  and GEO Magazine

Marco’s personal work focuses on long-term documentary stories that revolve around themes of community, people’s relationship with their environment, and the notion of home.
