For over 11 years, Sony has been the pioneer and innovator in the mirrorless digital imaging world. Sony saw the future of imaging in mirrorless technology in 2010 with the invention of E-Mount—revolutionizing and energizing the industry.
In 2013 Sony created the first full-frame mirrorless camera using that same, incredibly versatile, E-Mount. Since then, Sony has been innovating at such a rapid rate, they have become the #1 full-frame camera system worldwide.
The Alpha a7 camera system is complex and powerful, and Sony Pro Support Representative Amanda Arrick shows you how to get the absolute most out of your camera. Over four online workshop sessions, Amanda helps you fully understand the system and the best techniques to utilize with your camera.
Amanda guides you through the Sony A7 menus and custom configurations possible within the camera. Far beyond what the instruction manual can provide, she helps you customize the camera for your creative expression. Course topics include a review and overview of still photography techniques for achieving optimal exposures, techniques for focusing on a variety of subjects, and choosing the right lens for different situations—to name a few of the subjects covered by Amanda over this two-week workshop.
Please note that the Sony cameras covered by this course are the following nine models: A7, A7M2, A7M3, A7M4, A7R, A7RM2, A7RM3, A7RM4, A7S, and A7SM2.

Santa Fe Workshops always aims to produce a high-quality experience for our online attendees. That said, variables including regional and local internet provider speeds, traffic on Zoom's servers, and your own computing hardware can contribute to a less than ideal streaming event. While we do our best to minimize the impact of these variables, they are outside the control of Santa Fe Workshops.

For the convenience of participants, recordings of each class session are posted privately for one month after the end of each session. Santa Fe Workshops takes the recordings down after one month to protect the intellectual property of our instructors.
