Ed Kashi is a photojournalist who uses photography, filmmaking, and social media to explore social and geopolitical issues. As an educator and mentor, he lectures frequently on visual storytelling, human rights, and the world of media. A member of VII Photo Agency since 2010, Ed has created a number of influential short films, and in 2015 he was named Multimedia Photographer of the Year. His clients include National Geographic, Human Rights Watch, MediaStorm, NBC.com, The New York Times Magazine, Oxfam, and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, among many others. Ed has published eight books, and his award-winning work is exhibited worldwide.
