Christopher Prentiss Michel is an accomplished photojournalist and commercial travel photographer. After earning degrees from the University of Illinois and Harvard Business School, he served as a Mission Commander and Naval Flight Officer in the US Navy and is a member of the Henry Crown Fellowship of the Aspen Institute. His photography includes images from extreme locations, such as the North & South Poles, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Papua New Guinea, the edge of space (aboard a U-2) and humpback whale underwater habitats. Chris has taken portraits of leaders in arts, philosophy, spirituality, science, technology, from the 14th Dalai Lama to members of the Grateful Dead.
