Devi S. Laskar’s debut novel, The Atlas of Reds and Blues, won the 2019-2020 Asian/Pacific American Award for Literature and the 2020 Crook’s Corner Book Prize. It was selected by the Georgia Center for the Book as one of the Books All Georgians Should Read, longlisted for the DSC Prize in South Asian Literature, and has garnered praise from Booklist, Chicago Review of Books, The Guardian, and The Washington Post, which named it one of the 50 best books of 2019. Devi holds an MFA from Columbia University and an MA from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She is an alumna of VONA and the OpEd Project. A former newspaper reporter, she is now an essayist, poet, photographer, and novelist.
