How do we handle this enormous quantity of images quickly and efficiently? Not to fear, we have Adobe Lightroom.
Join Lightroom aficionado Rick Allred and learn touse this dynamic software to get your images organized, make them easy to access, and give them that all-important “pop.”This five-day workshop combines hands-on lessons and lots of practice to create your own personal workflow and enhance images that make you proud.
In The Workshops state-of-the-art digital lab, we devote important time to Lightroom’s Library Module’s powerful organizing, rating and cataloging tools—the tools that give us quick, consistent control of our images. We explore Lightroom’s Develop Module and the practical techniques and enhancement possibilities to take your images to the next level, including synchronizing enhancement settings to apply to multiple images automatically—an efficient tool that will save you hours of computer time. We also delve into the Print Module and make several prints in order to understand Lightroom’s printmaking process. The other modules in Lightroom are briefly discussed, but Rick devotes the majority of our time together to the Library, Develop and Print modules to give you the strong foundation you need to create your own digital workflow.
Rick explains the integration between Lightroom and Photoshop, or other external image editing software you might use in partnership with Lightroom, and how to keep your image edits and changes stored back in Lightroom.
