What is the best camera? The one you have with you! Although DSLR cameras are powerful creative tools, your iPhone is a constant companion, with a camera that’s always available to help you express yourself and capture the world in original ways. Over the course of this two-week online adventure, you discover how your iPhone can be used to create insightful portraits and stunning landscapes, taking your photographic output from snapshot-quality to next-level compelling.
Rick Allred creates a relaxed atmosphere for mastering the technical side of the iPhone and combines it with fun and intuitive opportunities for self-expression. As you begin to develop your own style and creative voice, Rick provides techniques for maximizing the iPhone’s camera features, helping you train your eye for composition and light. Assignments offer plenty of time to practice what we’ve learned, and Rick’s pro tips for processing allow you to transform your work from “meh” to magnificent.
By the workshop’s end, you are confidently using your iPhone to capture images and express your world in new ways. Join Rick as you lighten your heart and elevate your photography higher than you imagined possible!

Santa Fe Workshops always aims to produce a high-quality experience for our online attendees. That said, variables including regional and local internet provider speeds, traffic on Zoom's servers, and your own computing hardware can contribute to a less than ideal streaming event. While we do our best to minimize the impact of these variables, they are outside the control of Santa Fe Workshops.
Please Note: During the online registration process you will be asked about housing and meals. Answer no to both questions.

For the convenience of participants, recordings of each class session are posted privately for two weeks after the end of each session. Santa Fe Workshops takes the recordings down after two weeks to protect the intellectual property of our instructors.
