Leasha Overturf’s documentary photographs explore childhood, teenage relationships, and her immediate family. Leasha uses county fairs, public gathering spaces, and city streets and environments to find and photograph her subjects. Her work has appeared in various publications and exhibited at numerous venues, including The Chicago Project, organized by the Catherine Edelman Gallery in Chicago. In addition to doing her own photography projects, Leasha has worked closely with photographer Paul Elledge since 1993. The two also co-teach at the Toscana Photographic Workshops in Italy. This is Leasha’s 13th year teaching for The Workshops. Leasha’s web site is www.leasha.com.
