Olaf Willoughby is a photographer, writer, and educator who teaches, publishes, and exhibits in the U.S. and the U.K. His photography explores pattern detection—the process of seeing the ebb and flow of energy around us. His work is diverse and frequently experimental, and he has engaged in street photography, advocacy for Antarctica, and pairing abstract imagery with haiku. He cofounded The Leica Meet, a group with more than 13,000 members. Olaf collaborates extensively with Eileen McCarney Muldoon, and together they created Visualising Poetry, a fine-art book that combines words and images. His website is www.olafwilloughby.com.
