Elizabeth Fergus-Jean, PhD, is a passionate artist, committed educator, and cultural mythologist. Widely exhibited and collected, her art has appeared on the covers of myth and depth psychology journals and books. She has written extensively on image, art, and psyche, including essays for the Encyclopedia of Mythology (CD), and has been nominated twice for the Pushcart Prize.
Elizabeth has a PhD in mythological studies with an emphasis in depth psychology, as well as an MFA in art, and she specializes in the intertwining realms of creativity and archetypal imagining. She is a founding faculty member of the humanities program at Pacifica Graduate Institute. Her website is www.izzefrances.com.
