David Julian is a photographer and photo-illustrator focusing on travel, documentary and editorial projects. His work has appeared in many publications including the New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, Islands, National Geographic Traveler, Nikon World, Rangefinder and Outdoor Photographer. Exhibitions of his fine art photography have been held at the New Orleans Museum of Art, The Center for Photographic Art in Carmel, California and The Melkweg, a multi-media center for contemporary culture in Amsterdam.
An enthusiastic instructor, Dave loves to share his passion for interpreting cultural landscapes and the natural world. He also teaches the art of crafting digital captures in software to complete one’s artistic vision. He has led photography workshops at many of the country’s leading facilities and his international teaching experience includes workshops in Mexico, The Netherlands, Indonesia, Paris and Cuba.
