Alejandro Durán is a multimedia artist and educator working with photography and video. He was Hunter College’s Artist-in-Residence for 2014-15 and his video production company, Luma Projects, focuses on culture and education projects and has produced videos for the The Museum of Arts and Design and the Museum of Modern Art, among others. His current project, Washed Up: Transforming a Trashed Landscape, has been published and exhibited internationally. Alejandro has taught classes at MoMA and The International Center of Photography and currently serves as a founding board member for New York City Charter School of the Arts.
