Jacob Hessler creates large-scale landscapes that have been described as introspective, nostalgic, and meditative. In 2007, he graduated from the prestigious Brooks Institute of Photography. Afterwards, he assisted photographer Jill Greenberg on numerous high-profile projects, including work for New York Magazine and Wired.
After earning a master's degree in graphic design at Parsons the New School for Design, he worked in New York as a commercial photographer and creative director. He is now putting together a book of his fine art landscape images, releasing in 2016. Jacob co-manages the boutique-branding firm Hessler Creative. This is his second year teaching at The Workshops.
